Changing Active Directory Password

an Illinois NetID, then you will be prompted for your Active Directory account name and password.

What is an Illinois NetID? The Illinois (or UIUC) NetID is
the University identifier for accessing computing resources at the
University of Illinois. All employees and students, and most
on-site affiliates have an Illinois NetID.

Services that use Active Directory
The following services in the Department of Computer Science
utilize the campus Active Directory for authentication:
People with an Illinois NetID
Faculty, staff, students, and on-site visitors have a Campus Network ID (NetID) with an
associated password that can be used to reset the password of an account in the
Illinois Active Directory
(AD).
People without an Illinois NetID
Collaborators, particularly off-site collaborators, typically do not
have a means to change the passwords of accounts in the Active Directory. This website will permit a change of
the Active Directory account password, if the current password is known. To change the password
of a campus Active Directory password, please navigate to our password change page.
